Why is CDP #1 in Infant Care? We have the best teachers and the best setting! At CDP we look after every detail in caring for your infant:
*** We have a private Mother's Room for nursing or just cuddle time during your lunch break or whenever you can stop in for a visit. Our Mother's Room features a padded rocking chair, table area, cd player and magazines for relaxing. The room is equipped with outlets for pumping equipment and other necessities.
*** Our staff is very experienced in the professional child care field and they receive extensive training every year to enhance the infant experience and strengthen their expertise. Every one of our infant teachers is also a mother, bringing an additional level of expertise and experience to the environment.
*** Our infant rooms are designed around the child, to provide a soft and loving physical environment, as well as provide appropriate levels of stimulation for optimal growth and development.

Olentangy Schools Kindergarten Benchmarks
Of course, the quality education doesn't stop in the infant rooms. The education and highest level of quality is found throughout the classrooms and programming, all the way to our amazing PreK classroom. Our PreK classroom follows the Olentangy Schools Kindergarten Benchmarks to ensure each child is well prepared for the rigors ahead. Each child graduates from CDP with confidence and a step ahead!

We have received our 4th consecutive Step Up To Quality Award! Children's Discovery Place at Polaris has now received the prestigious Level 1 award for FOUR consecutive years. We are the only full-scale facility to have accomplished this remarkable achievement in Lewis Center!

PERFECT LICENSING INSPECTION - 2 yrs IN A ROW!
Children's Discovery Place has achieved a PERFECT score on semi-annual licensing inspections in both 2009 and 2010, performed by the State of Ohio! A tremendous amount of effort goes into assuring that we meet and exceed the thousands of licensing requirements on a constant basis. Congratulations to the staff on an amazing job for 2 consecutive years!

EXTRA'S: JUMP BUNCH, SOCCER SHOTS, COMPUTER CLASSES AND FREE MUSIC CLASSES
At Children's Discovery Place we offer a variety of activities to engage each child in new and interesting activities. We offer FREE music classes, led by Annie Hawe, with Annie's Jam Band. Ms. Annie Hawe puts on Music classes for each classroom every other week with a variety of instruments and musical genres.
We also offer weekly physical activity classes, put on by Jump Bunch and Soccer Shots. These classes are offered to all children over 18 months for a fee determined by each company. Please see their activity posters, full curriculum and brochures in our large muscle room.
We also offer computer classes with hands on learning through directed laptop sessions with CompuWare. These classes are offered to our Pre-K children for a less than $10! Please see our Pre-K teachers or a member of our management team for more information.
