Mathapalooza!
The children will be having a blast with Math all day February 1st! We will be experimenting with many mathematic methods including numeric identification, counting, geometry, time, measurement, and basic equations. It will be 'Mathapalooza' all day long!

READ-A-THON
The celebrate the birthday of beloved children's writer, Dr. Seuss, we will be kicking off a week long Read-A-Thon on February 27th! More information to come in February about the structure of the Read-A-Thon and prize drawings. It is never to early to develop a love of language and literacy!

At CDP, we are always reviewing the latest research and making improvements to our curriculum and style. This summer we are not setting weekly themes ... instead we will be letting the children in each classroom select a fun topic each week! This approach will allow more creativity and enhance the interest level as the children become more engaged in the topics that currently hold their interest!
We do have a summer calendar for our School-Age daily field trips and the special events that will be coming to CDP for most age groups. We still have guests and events at CDP almost every week in the summer, including COSI on Wheels, Magic Show, the Water Show, and so much more. Our free music classes will also continue all summer!

REFERRAL PROGRAM:
We greatly appreciate all the wonderful compliments from our parents and families at Children's Discovery Place at Polaris. To thank you we have instituted a Referral Program!
Receive $100 Off A Month of Tuition when you refer a new family to Children's Discovery Place at Polaris. To qualify the family must list you as a referral, enroll their child(ren), and stay with CDP for at least 60 days. Upon completion of their first 60 days of enrollment you will receive your tuition discount.
There is no limit. For example, refer 10 families to the Center and receive $100 off each month of tuition for the next 10 months (a $1,000 value)!

SNACK MENU:
The attached Snack menu provides a SAMPLE of the variety and balanced snacks provided at Children's Discovery Place. The current snack menu is displayed in each classroom. Anytime a late change is made to the menu it will be noted on the posted menu in your child's classroom. Parents are always welcome to bring in their child's snack if they have special dietary needs or preferences.
